Most are centres of their local community and have been established for decades by family businesses or committed individuals.

The Mica brand is used by these independent businesses to compete with the big multiples through group buying and combined marketing.

This website, diy.coop has been created to allow Mica members who wish to offer a delivery service, as well as a local shop service to do so by teaming up with other likeminded stores and key partner brands and suppliers to bring a range of the best offers on the market place on diy, garden and homeware products to the consumer UK nationwide, not just in the local area of each Mica store.

When you place your order, it will be allocated to an individual Mica retailer who will service you in the usual way you would expect from an online order, but with the added benefit of knowing there is a bricks and mortar retailer you can contact.
